Foundation Stage Processing Instructions and Information

Course description

• Half day course designed for teaching staff working at Foundation Stage
• Usually delivered as part of a six session course or as part of whole setting training.
• Develops understanding of SLC skills involved in processing instructions and information, increases awareness of why children with SLCN find it hard to carry out instructions and understand new information; provides demonstration of range of general and specific strategies; develops understanding of the importance of the adult’s communication and the environment.
