Course description

• Half day course designed for teaching staff working at Foundation Stage.
• Usually delivered as part of a six session course or as part of whole setting training.
• Increases awareness of typical development; introduces the Language for Learning Model of SLC skills, increases knowledge of incidence and impact of SLCN on behaviour, academic progress and social development. Provides identification tools; supports transfer of new knowledge into everyday practice through journal tasks. Provides list of key reading material.
