Course description
- The training is aimed at early years practitioners and revolves around early years practice.
- The training is delivered jointly by SLTs and educational practitioners.
- The aspects of the course related to curriculum are tailored for the different curricula provided in the UL countries.
- Practitioners must identify individualised targets for their own communication practice. These are supported by the Guided learning workbooks which practitioners are encouraged to undertake following the taught element.
- Practitioners must have undertaken Supporting communication level training OR meet SLCF competences at the universal level.
Format of training: 2 day taught course with self-directed workbook following the course.
The workbook is not compulsory though it is provided to all participants.
Other Information
Although copyrighted to I CAN, this course may be delivered by practitioners external to I CAN who have purchased the training package and received train the trainers input.
