What is an indicator of competence?

Sometimes it is difficult to decide if we have a skill or piece of knowledge when asked out of context. The indicators alongside each competence are there to provide a little more guidance to help you decide if you do, or could, put the competence into practice. There may be other ways that you can demonstrate your skills or knowledge and these are only some suggestions – ultimately it’s your decision as to whether or not you are confident in each competence in the SLCF.
